Job Summary/Responsibilities

Drivers will have the following responsibilities:

• Transport head office workers, consultants and visitors to required locations.
  Ensure the safety, cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.
  Performing daily maintenance of the vehicle such as timely oil changes, inspections, brakes.
  Making arrangements for major repairs to the vehicle when necessary.
• Ensure that all required documents for the vehicle are up to date and in order, particularly with regard to vehicle insurance, vehicle records and spare parts required.
  Plan routes and requirements based on scheduled or ad hoc requests by the office.
• Ensure passengers comply with all road safety regulations.
  Attend to special requests, picking up and delivering items as directed and performing duties.
  Be able to provide protection for users in locations deemed to be high risk.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
  Qualifications:
• Valid driving licence and a record of Medium Level of Education.
  Valid driving license for professional category.
• Minimum 5 years experience driving motor vehicles.
  Experience working with NGOs is an advantage.
• Skills: written, verbal and organizational.
