Job Description:

1. Receive correspondence from sponsors, including letters and GNs, enter the data into the sponsor’s system, generate control forms, translate and send to the AP; Follow up on the progress of responses from children; identify overdue correspondence to enable Development Officers and Child Monitors to follow up within deadlines. Receive responses from the AP, enter into the system, translate and send to the SO.

2. Maintain all information from RCs in the system; upload data from child greeting videos, children’s photo, child’s story and cover letter and all newly registered children; upload all data including children’s photos, GNs, all correspondence, questions and special events.

3. Receive data files from sponsorship products, upload and print reports. Analyse data files to identify holds and ensure they are processed within 90 days Generate monthly reports of sponsorship activities and deliver them to the Sponsorship Coordinator; highlight any problems in the report that do not reflect the actual situation in the community; highlight areas of concern and work with the programme team to ensure plans are drawn up to resolve the concerns.

4. Participate in the programme design process to ensure that sponsorship is well understood and properly considered during project design, considering sponsorship as an asset for children. Advise on opportunities to integrate sponsorship during project planning, including sponsorship proce

Qualifications and Skills

Requirements:
At least 2 years’ previous experience of managing correspondence and operating sponsorship systems or similar.
Experience of data entry.
Strong knowledge of computers and database management – Microsoft Word and Excel, or other similar packages and ability to learn new packages.
Detailed focus with the ability to review large amounts of data, information and similar work and be able to organise and identify errors and correct punctually.
Ability to work with local languages.
Ability to work as a team member in a diverse team.
Degree in statistics, communications (English), computer science or development studies.
Experience in development is an advantage but not essential.
