Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related course in a relevant field.

Experience and Skills

Essential

• At least two years’ work experience in a similar role in an NGO environment;
  Basic knowledge and understanding in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  High level of integrity / confidentiality and ability to work as part of a professional team;
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
  Excellent interpersonal, communication, coordination and reporting skills;
• Proven ability to handle challenging workloads;
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
• Motivated, has a can-do attitude;
• Good communication skills in English;
  Cross-cultural experience and ability to work well in a multicultural environment with understanding and sensitivity;
• Knowledge of Mozambican labour laws and employment law;
• Commitment to meet the requirements of Save the Children’s
• Safeguarding Policy and PSEA and other relevant SCI policies.
