SAVE THE CHILDREN INTERNATIONAL (SCI), a non-profit humanitarian organization with its focus on child welfare, is recruiting candidates for the below mentioned vacancy:
The Purpose of the Position
The Manager – Information Technology, will be responsible for supervising all information technology including all Provincial Offices under the Head Office. He/she will ensure high delivery of Information Technology(IT) services that enable efficient and effective delivery of high quality programmes. This will include responding to the needs of Information Technology(IT) related issues, support and train the Information Technology(IT) team in provincial offices, will supervise the implementation of Information Technology projects and act as the country’s leading Information Technology(IT) advisor to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s level in Information Technology in a reputed institution, Master’s level is an advantage
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in ICT Support and Management.
- Experience in data centre management;
- Practical experience with computer networking, network administration and network installation;
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems;
- Familiar with all day-to-day aspects of managing the Information Technology (IT) needs of an organization, with specific areas of the job involved; familiarity with Windows and MS Office products, LAN/WAN infrastructures (routers, modems, switches etc.); troubleshooting and administration of networks (LAN) and servers; good working knowledge of Windows server and domain system configuration, anti-virus software management etc;
Good communication skills and a strong positive attitude towards learning; - Fluency in spoken and written English;
- Ability and experience of training end users or employee;
- Commitment to Save the Children values.
- Previous experience in an INGO is desirable;
