ADPP Mozambique (Associação de Ajuda de Desenvolvimento de Povo para Povo) is looking for a candidate with proven experience to work as a Payroll Technician at its head office in Machava, Maputo Province.

Recruitment Description/ Key Accountabilities

Qualifications and Skills

The Payroll Technician’s tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving payroll
  • Preparing payrolls;
  • Sending out payrolls for approval;
  • Receiving approved payrolls;
  • Assisting projects with processing management;
  • Sending out payslips;
  • Clearance and payment of IRPS and INSS;
  • Filing payrolls;
  • Sending salaries to E&A for invoicing;
  • Assistance with audits;
  • Reconciliation of workers’ accounts;
  • Extracting and analysing processing reports in PHC;
  • Interpreting errors issued by the PHC and reporting them to the provider;
  • Training new colleagues in the use of PHC;
  • Drawing up monthly maps and reports;
  • Draw up the processing calendar and share it with stakeholders;
  • Draw up a proposal for a PHC improvement plan;
  • Control and manage the holiday balance in the PHC;

Requirements:

  • Technical training in the area of Human Resources Management, accounting or Business Administration, (possession of higher education will be an advantage);
  • At least 3 years’ experience in human resources or related areas;
  • At least one year’s proven experience of using the PHC system
  • Experience of working with national or international humanitarian organisations in the position will be an advantage;
  • Demonstrated emotional balance and ability to maintain confidentiality;
  • Flexibility to change tasks and willingness to work under pressure;
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail;
  • Good computer skills from a user perspective

Machava, Maputo Province.

Immediately
