Short Description/ Purpose of Job
Ensure that principle processes, procedures and other controls to be applied by the Absa Bank Mozambique (ABM) and its Business Units (BU) in respect of the management of Information Risk as defined, in line with applicable regulatory requirements, Policy and Standards. In addition to ensuring that all Data quality controls have been embedded into the business to ensure that the bank’s information life cycle caters for the availability, integrity, usefulness, completeness and security of the bank’s information and data assets.

Job Description
Support BU’s with the implementation of Data and Records Management controls across all our electronic and physical information sources.
The job holder will be responsible for:
- Monitoring the governance and enforcement of Data and Records Management Policies, Standards and Processes.
- Ensuring accurate MI reporting.
- Responsible for effective stakeholder engagement, including of archiving partner.
- Ensuring the implementation of controls across the environment that will define the Bank’s Data and Records Management maturity
- Be responsible to assist in the development of a mature Data and Records Management awareness culture and framework.
Education
Higher Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
