Qualifications and Skills

• Secondary level; preferably a degree in Development, Sociology or related areas;
• Conceptual understanding of and commitment to development work among the people;
• Basic knowledge of aspects of development work including health, education, food security, child protection, disaster management and advocacy;
• Basic understanding of design, monitoring and evaluation;
• At least three years previous relevant experience, including at least one year in facilitating development within and with the community;
• Motorbike driving licence.

Work Environment

•  Community-based in the allocated area Nante , but travelling to the District once a month.
