Title: Psychosocial Support Officer (PSSO)
Department: Technical
Location: Inhambane, Mozambique
Reports to: At district level, reports to the Regional Coordinator; at national level, reports to the National Psychosocial Support Advisor.

The objective of this position is to strengthen the technical capacity of SDMAS (District Health Services) and Health Units to ensure access to quality PSS and Mental Health services for PLHIV (People Living with HIV), with a focus on pregnant and lactating women, adults, adolescents, children, and their families.
In this role, the PSS Programme Officer liaises with the multidisciplinary team of SDMAS and Health Units to ensure the operationalisation of guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health at the district/health unit level. You will support and monitor interventions carried out by various actors in the areas of PSS, including Mental Health, adherence and retention support, and CETA (Mental Health), as well as preventive and reintegration initiatives.
